Mark Pitts Consulting combines the experiences and talents of Mark Pitts and Kirk Smith. As consultants, facilitators, moderators, and trainers, they and their associates have worked for a variety of companies in and out of automotive. Regardless of the industry, however, Mark Pitts Consulting commits itself to satisfying its clients’ goals, whether that is bottom line net, gross profit, employee retention strategies, customer retention through an improved guest experience, customer growth, or net profit. Mark Pitts

Founder and Owner

Mark Pitts has been in the automotive industry his entire adult life. Mark's career began working in retail at a large Toyota dealership in Los Angeles for a decade and then spent another decade working as a corporate employee for another Japanese automotive company. It was that experience that culminated in the founding of Mark Pitts Consulting in the early 2000’s. Always focused on the client’s goals, Mark has helped many companies achieve those goals via his expertise and knowledge of management processes.

Mark also serves as an adjunct professor in Business, International Business, Management, and Marketing, at Brookhaven College.

Kirk Smith

Senior Consultant

Kirk Smith has many years of automotive OEM and retail experience working with mid and large level companies. Kirk’s automotive career began in 1990 as a managing partner at a Ford/Lincoln Mercury Mitsubishi operation in Southern Utah. Kirk’s retail experience allowed him the opportunity to hold various mid-level and executive OEM positions with a major Japanese manufacturer. Kirk’s goals are to help companies realize additional growth opportunities in the areas of sales, management, and leadership.
